About Cook in a Book
Cook in a Book is the original 'Cook Book Company' and is owned by Ros and Stuart Cannell in Dorset, England. Cook in a book was developed to enable the printing of small quantities of cookbooks principally for fundraising for charities, schools, colleges, universities, companies and individuals. Since we statrted in 2003 some other competitors have arrived on the scene. We're not too worried, and our quality and comitment remain the same, and if in some instances our prices are a little higher than others we ask you to compare the amount of work we offer free to sort out your book for you together with the quality of the finished product.

The offhand style of much of this site is in itself an evolution from the reaction we have received. We're well aware that the odd person might think it unprofessional, but to be blunt - we don't care. We suggest those people could use a little joy in their lives.

You can't please all of the people all of the time, they say... So be it, we'd like to please the people who can have a smile. For those people, we'll go several extra miles.

   Who and where we are.

As, we think, you now realise we aren't too impressed by all businesses out there talking garbage and delivering very little.

90% of the time you will deal with either Ros or Stuart directly. On other occasions, like many small businesses we may be otherwise engaged (probably doing our VAT return -Ed.) Please leave a message and we'll get back to you ASAP.
